About Slava

My name is Slava Cravcenco. I was born in the Republic of Moldova in 1981. I grew up in a loving family along with my younger brother. When I was 6 years old, I started playing table tennis and I dedicated almost 20 years of my life to this sport. I had the great oportunity to travel around the world as a member of Moldavian Table Tennis National team. Over the years, I won multiple tournaments and competitions of different levels and I represented Moldova at different European and World championships. In 2012, I won the Ontario championship, and in 2013 I became Canada’s champion as an Ontario Table Tennis Association team member.
After I graduated High School, I continued my education level at the Financial Banking College, followed by a year of studying at the National Institute of Physical Education and Sports. My university degree is a 4-year bachelor’s in Economics and Law at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, which I successfully graduated in 2004.
My first job was a law consultant at a local IP Telecommunication company. I stayed with that company for one year, and a year later I was employed by EfesVitanta Moldova Brewery, the biggest brewery company in Moldova. During my six and a half years of employment, I was promoted from a merchandiser to a team leader in the Sales Department
During my studies at the Financial Banking College, I met my future wife and we got married in 2003. We have two wonderful kids – a daughter who is now 16 and a son – who is nine. My family is my everything, my pride, my riches, my sense of life. Everything I do is for the well-being of my loved ones
In 2010 we moved to Canada for a new life and for new opportunities. After 12 years of Canadian experience, I see myself as an accomplished entrepreneur, leading a windows and doors renovation company, Window Mart Inc. Canada became a new home for me and my family. I am very proud to name myself Canadian. I feel that the time has come for me to play my role as a Canadian citizen because I really care about the future of my community, my city, my province and my country.
